Whether the battery is a single starter battery on a stand by generator or a system of 400 batteries supporting a UPS or DC power plant often the battery failure is the cause of power loss in the event of a mains fail. With regular testing and servicing these battery failures can be highlighted and resolved before any issues arise.

The BT3554 battery internal resistance tester sets the standard for assessing the deterioration and remaining life of lead-acid batteries by giving a complete diagnosis via battery resistance testing. CPS have a range of off load banks from 30Kva to 400Kva which can be supplied with an operator or hire of equipment only. Load banks are ideal for testing generators, UPS and any form of power supplies to prove the correct output and operation of equipment.
Load bank testing of generators is recommended on an annual basis to ensure that they are operating to their potential. We would advise testing as part of the planned maintenance requirement for your generator to it meets your expectation in the event of a power failure.
